Super PAC Ad Focuses on Disappointment With Obama

A new ad from a super PAC affiliated with strategist Karl Rove will attack Obama not as a radical who lacks integrity, but instead as a man who has disappointed those who voted for him four years ago, according to The New York Times.

The new 60-second commercial, entitled “Basketball,” will begin airing Wednesday in 10 swing states as part of a $25 million campaign by Crossroads GPS. It was created by Larry McCarthy, who produced the legendary Willie Horton ads during the 1988 election.

“I supported President Obama because he spoke so beautifully,” she says. “He promised change. But things changed for the worse.”
