Is This ‘Call Me Maybe’ Business Card Endearing or Obnoxious? [Call Me Maybe]

Is This 'Call Me Maybe' Business Card Endearing or Obnoxious? Carly Rae Jepsen’s pop hit “Call Me Maybe” is the kind of song you love or hate — or, perhaps more accurately, totally love and crank in the car when no one else is around, but then talk about hating in public. I don’t know your life.

But how would that pop sentiment look in real life?

Reader Sarah sent in this photo of a “Call Me Maybe”-themed business card a friend posted on Facebook. She says another friend relayed a story of a similar card received at a wedding. So either this guy gets around, or the “Call Me Maybe” business card is a terrifying new trend.

At least both the song and the card acknowledge that “this is crazy”? Besides, maybe the dude who hands you this is the soulmate you haven’t met yet: “Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad…”

Douche parking

I can’t tell if the app featured in this video is imaginary or not, but it’s a great theoretical solution to the problem of douche parking. Douche parking is basically parking like a douche, and is way more prevalent in Russia than in the US. The Village feels publicly shaming is the best way to deal with douches. Unfortunately, one trait of douches is an inability to be shamed.
