A reader responds to what was probably <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/infocus\/2013\/04\/photos-of-the-boston-marathon-bombing\/100495\/#img08\">the most gruesome photo<\/a> to surface:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Please, please, I hope to find that the man in the wheelchair with the bilateral leg trauma (and amputations) has survived. He will be in every prayer I have the ability to pray. If you hear of him, please let us know.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He appears to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/news\/comments\/1cf7mn\/boston_marathon_explosions_live_update_thread_3\/c9fzg69\">alive and stable<\/a>. A little background on the young man\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowellsun.com\/breakingnews\/ci_23032570\/pray-my-son-father-says-chelmsford-man\">here<\/a>. By the way, the guy in the cowboy hat seen helping in the photo is also featured in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pWHHWB3Jr60&amp;feature=youtu.be\">this stirring Youtube<\/a>, in which he recalls the carnage while shaking\u00c2\u00a0uncontrollably. He also appears to be the same guy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/bigpicture\/2013\/04\/terror_at_the_boston_marathon.html#photo6\">holding up the American flag<\/a> in the middle of the bomb site.
