And if you believe the publishing myth that building floor assignments matter \u00e2\u20ac\u201d they do, they really do \u00e2\u20ac\u201d these initial details speak volumes:<\/p>\n<p><i>Vanity Fair<\/i> and <i>The<\/i> <i>New Yorker<\/i>, the old-guard, good old boys&#8217; clubs, will inhabit floors 41 and 40 and 39 and 38, respectively \u00e2\u20ac\u201d just levels below the executive floor on 42. <i>W \u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/i> which has always been at Cond\u00c3\u00a9&#8217;s Third Avenue satellite building rather than at 4 Times Square \u00e2\u20ac\u201d finally gets a spot in the mothership, but it will share the 32nd floor with <i>Golf Digest.<\/i><\/p>\n<p> The fashion power-grouping, including pet projects of Anna Wintour, will be found in the 20s:<i> Glamour<\/i>,<i> Lucky<\/i>, and<i> GQ<\/i> are on 30, 29, and 28, respectively, while <i>Vogue<\/i> editorial is on 25, directly above the photo studio. (The editorial and publishing teams of <i>Teen Vogue, Details<\/i>, and <i>Architectural Digest\u00c2\u00a0<\/i> are sprinkled on various floors, with the publishing teams of more major brands.)<\/p>\n<p> Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t read too much into the <i>Golf Digest<\/i> cohabitation, <i>W<\/i>. Because really, the only floors that truly matter are the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153remarkable amenity floors on 34 and 35\u00e2\u20ac\u009d just two floors up.
