The full, profoundly articulate quote from the unnamed Romney adviser, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/worldnews\/mitt-romney\/9424524\/Mitt-Romney-would-restore-Anglo-Saxon-relations-between-Britain-and-America.html\">who also said<\/a> that Romney &#8220;<span>would abandon Obama\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Left-wing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d coolness toward London<\/span>: <span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he feels that the special relationship is special. The White House didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t fully appreciate the shared history we have.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span>It&#8217;s special! Don&#8217;t you get it, people!? Noting that some might construe the comment as racially insensitive, the <i>Telegraph<\/i> also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/worldnews\/mitt-romney\/9424524\/Mitt-Romney-would-restore-Anglo-Saxon-relations-between-Britain-and-America.html\">writes<\/a> that one Romney adviser said that the former Massachusetts Governor<span><span> <\/span>is &#8220;better placed to understand the depth of ties between the two countries than Obama.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Perhaps the adviser went on to discuss Romney&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/2012.republican-candidates.org\/Romney\/Biography.php\">lineage<\/a>, which traces to <span>England, Scotland, and German<\/span>y. Maybe the adviser said that Romney&#8217;s family frequently dines at Medieval Times (of course they don&#8217;t).
